In 2018 and then further in 2022, Sandia National Lab demonstrated the feasibility of Magnetized-Liner inertial fusion (MagLIF) for fusion engineering breakeven. What’s holding us back? Repetition rate and cost. That’s why Fuse is obsessively focused on engineering efficiency and affordability. MagLIF integrates proven fusion technologies.

Our tested, iterative approach breaks down tough challenges into solvable objectives – it's how we've delivered two neutron-producing fusion generators and the world's first IMG pulser in less than three years, on time and on a lean budget.
